The fire clean-up and painting has been completed in the gymnasium, locker rooms, and weight room.  We are waiting for the new mats for the weight room to arrive and a few benches remain to be painted and installed in the weight rooms. 
 
The certified staff contracts have all been turned in for the 2010-2011 school term.  A contract has been issued, accepted, and approved to Mr. Jerad Lehmann for science.  Mr. Mitchell Strand has been issued a contract for the fifth grade teaching position.  Mr. Mitchell also has a coaching background and is interested in possible coaching positions.
 
Administrative contracts have been approved for Mrs. Leier and me for the 2010-2011 school term.
 
The Maddock Board of Education approved a $.50 per hour raise for the support staff for the 2010-2011 school term.  This is the same increase that was issued the previous year.
 
Preston Gilderhus is attending the International Science Fair with Mr. Gutormson at San Jose, CA this week.
 
The Benson County Co-op committee will be meeting within the next week to discuss the open coaching positions and to prepare for next year’s sports seasons.
 
The all school picnic will be held on Wednesday, May 26th beginning at 11:25.
