Hello! My name is Jenna Helseth and I am the band teacher for grades 5-12 in Maddock and Leeds. I grew up on a farm southeast of New Rockford and graduated from high school there. I attended the University of Mary in Bismarck where I received my bachelor's degree in K-12 Vocal/Instrument Music Edcuation with a business minor. After graduating from college I taught K-12 music at Turtle Lake - Mercer school. I moved back to my home area when I married my husband Brent. For the previous two years I taught music at Four Winds School. Brent and I live on a farm west of Sheyenne. We have one daughter, Joie, and are expecting our 2nd child in February! I strongly believe in the importance of music education and that it will bring students a life-long source of enjoyment! It is also proven to make them smarter! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns!
